Sweet Sensations is a fully licensed boutique bakery located at Avery Park in Newnan, GA specializing in custom decorated sweets serving the greater Atlanta area.
As a design leader in custom cakes we love designing new cakes, that are delicious, every day for our wonderful clients from North Atlanta to Columbus.
Each one of you to visit our site and/or shoppe is a special, unique person, so that is the way we treat your cake. We don’t want you to have a design scores of others have had in the past, which is why we custom design all the cakes.
We take great pride in our consistency of product….always fresh, moist and delicious as well as impeccably crafted which has kept us on the preferred vendor lists of country clubs, hotels, caterers and other vendors all over Georgia. We do not pay to be on any vendor lists. We strongly feel it is our service and product that should put us on those lists and keep us there!
Sharon Alexander, the owner/sugar artist/cake designer, has taken instruction from world renown pastry chefs and sugar artists, but is most proud of the incredibly talented, hard working staff who create fabulous works of art for our clientele.
Sharon is honored to be on the advisory boards for the West Georgia Technical College culinary program, Baker’s Rack magazine, and Sugar Seminars.
Professional memberships include the Retail Baker’s of America, Southeastern Retail Baker’s Association , NACE (National Association of Catering Executives), International Cake Exploration Societe, Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce and Southern Charm Bridal Network.
