Deco Wyndham wedding

Joyce and Steve, in photo, are part of the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center team who do an incredible job for all their events.  They’re so professional, yet friendly, personable and fun.   Along with Karen, the person the clients meet with to plan their events, they make it a pleasure to deliver cakes to the property.

Wyndham Wedding

This was the Colwell/Dean wedding on saturday.  It had a UGA football helmet for the groom’s cake.

Thank you, Wyndham!!!!

Deco Digster, the 3D Beagle

The USDA just had a groundbreaking ceremony for the new National Training Center for the Beagle Brigade…they’re the sniffers at the airport looking for fruits and veggie being brought into the country.

John W. Rooker and Associates, Inc, the company building the facility, commissioned the cake.

Deco Dunaway Gardens, week two

Another saturday evening of perfect weather at Dunaway Gardens!!!

Southern Touch Catering did the food, wish we could have tried it.

The Carter/Horton wedding looked amazing.  Virtu did a gorgeous job on the flowers, as always.

The wedding cake was our signature banana cake with caramel filling.

Week 2, Dunaway Gardens

The groom’s cake was his favorite..the Grand Tetons out of chocolate cake with him taking a rest from bike riding.  As usual, everything was edible on the cake.

Dunaway Gardens, Week Two

Deco Dunaway Gardens

Yeah!!  First of the season had good weather!!  It poured the night before…phew.  It’s such a beautiful venue.  We do a lot of weddings there, so it’s nice to start off with it nice out.

Amanda and Randolph Collins, congratulations!

Deco Wine bottle cake

Kay and Kelly are long time favorite clients of Sweet Sensations.  They’re so much fun!

Kay’s wine bottle cake

Kelly ordered this cake for Kay’s 40th birthday.  It had a champagne filling (didn’t think wine would taste too good!).

Thank you for all your business over the years!!

Deco Military cake

Berry cake

We’ll just talk about cake!!!

A couple of weeks ago, we had the honor to do a military retirement cake.  My dad retired as CSM of the 40th Infantry Division (M) of the California National Guard.  I’ve been to many military functions and they are always heartwarming.

We couldn’t believe this woman was old enough to retire after 26 years!  This cake was a replica of her uniform jacket with all the badges, pins and medals.  It was, definitely, a labor of love.  While we’re working on cakes we’re usually not too happy with them, but the end result is awesome.  In this case, Rachel outdid herself!!  Hope you agree!

(As usual, everything on the cake is edible!)
